We are a Gambian Danish couple who met and married in Brussels, Belgium back in 2010. Ten years we later moved to Denmark.
In 2021 we purchased our first land in Gambia.
TIME2FARM is our attempt at preserving local agriculture, produced by local work force, transported and sold locally and finally consumed locally within Gambia. While living in Denmark most of the year, we travel to Gambia as frequent as possible to sustain the project and to invest further – while anchoring the farming efforts further into local business.
All this to increase employment, fair food prices and introducing Gambia to Danes. Gambia is a wonderful coastal country with a thriving tourism industry, and full of potential for diverse agricultural development..
When growing the land most tasks are often done with manual labour and hard work. That is why every shovel, rake, spade, knife, axe, basket, wheelbarrow or water hose would mean a difference.
We are systematically trying to build our land by developing it in different phases. Here you will find an overview of when the various items that will be needed.
By sponsoring us you help support a well-meaning local project in a country that with multiple challenges from malaria and other tropical diseases, to poverty, sometimes starvation, lack of higher education and rough infrastructure.
